Join Forward Arts Foundation as Chair or Trustee Are you passionate about the power of poetry to inspire, include and transform? Do you believe diverse voices should be heard – and want to help make poetry accessible to all? Forward Arts Foundation, the charity behind National Poetry Day and the Forward Prizes for Poetry, is looking for a new Chair and Trustees to help us grow and govern well. We’re a small, ambitious team reaching over 2.4 million people each year. As we expand our impact and deepen our engagement, our board plays a key role in strategic oversight, governance, and championing our mission. We’re especially keen to hear from those with experience in: Education (especially literacy and young people) Digital (strategy, engagement, platforms) Fundraising & Philanthropy Governance & Leadership We welcome applicants under 30 and those seeking their first trusteeship. We’re also recruiting a new Chair, who will lead the board and support our Director. Interested? We’d be happy to arrange a chat with our current Chair, Jamie Andrews. Our meetings are flexible, inclusive and remote-friendly.
